The aim of this degree is to scientifically and technically train professionals who can meet the needs of the industry in industrial electronics, automation and process control and robotics. The degree enables students to work as technical industrial engineers. It contains a basic training module, a training module common to the industrial branch, a specific training module in industrial electronics, automation and robotics and a final module in which students can choose between more specialised subjects of electronics, electricity, industrial or automatic computing.

You will be able to design and develop industrial automation and control systems, embedded and robotic systems and analogue electronic systems, digital and power instruments. You will be able to programme and maintain equipment for industrial facilities, sign certifications and reports, offer freelance services as an entrepreneur or consultant; take on administration, R&D&I or teaching tasks. Students will be able to carry out part of their training, including the bachelor's thesis, at prestigious universities in Europe, the USA, Latin America, Japan, Australia and in several African countries. Furthermore, students can carry out internships in companies of different industrial sectors, which will serve to learn about the professional reality under the tutelage of an expert of the company and of a professor of the degree. With this degree students can have access to numerous university master's degrees (MU) from the Universitat Politècnica de València and other universities. Closely related master's degrees include: the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, which prepares students to work as industrial engineers; the Master's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering; the Master's Degree in Maintenance Engineering; the Master's Degree in Automation and Industrial Informatics; the Master's Degree in Systems Engineering Electronics; the Master's Degree in Computer Aided Integrated Design and Manufacturing; and the Master's Degree in Energy Technology for Sustainable Development.
