Introduction

The competitiveness of a company depends on the competitiveness of the supply chain in which it is integrated. Improving the efficiency of the supply chain in the areas of engineering, production and logistics is thus a requirement for companies that want to stay competitive.

The Master's Degree in Advanced Engineering in Production, Logistics and Supply Chain Management aims to offer a comprehensive specialist training, through the official postgraduate programme in Industrial Engineering and Production, both at the Spanish and Valencian levels, paying special attention to traditional Valencian sectors and to high-tech, transport and distribution, logistics operating, consulting and service companies.

Objectives

The purpose of this master's degree is to train professionals in advanced production engineering, logistics and supply chain, focusing their training to meet the needs of companies.

It also offers the possibility of selecting a research itinerary for those students willing to complete their doctoral studies.

During the development of the master's degree, advanced planning, programming and sequencing techniques will be applied, both within the context of industrial companies as well as in the supply chain. Logistical techniques of supply and distribution, logistics engineering and supply chain, and their strategies will be taught. The master's degree will also include the implementation of business process management, performance measurement systems, and modelling and simulation techniques of production systems, logistics and supply chains.

Who is it for?

Graduates in engineering or business administration and management, oriented towards industrial and service companies (logistics, distribution, logistics operators) and motivated by supply chain relations between suppliers, manufacturers, transporters, logistics operators and distributors.

It is recommended to have a B2 level of English to undertake some specific academic activities.
