In a context of growing social pressure on water resources, it is vital to train experts in hydraulic engineering and the environment from both the professional and research point of view. Moreover, European legislation (Water Framework Directive, 2000) calls for the training of professionals from a multidisciplinary perspective analogous to this degree programme.
This master's degree is associated with the PhD in Water and Environmental Engineering, awarded a Quality Mention by the Ministry of Education (MCD2006-00408).
For participants who wish to formalize their doctoral thesis, completion of this master's degree will cover the training period required by Spanish legislation (RD 1393/2007).
Civil, industrial, agricultural, forestry and chemical engineers and graduates in chemistry, biology or environmental sciences. Also: equivalent degree qualifications.
