The Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering offers you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge in cutting-edge areas that are highly sought after in the job market. The field of telecommunications is continuously growing and evolving, resulting in an increasing demand for highly skilled professionals who are trained in these areas.
Program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the General Criteria and the Telecommunications and Similarly Named Engineering Program Criteria.
Program certified by the EUR-ACE Engineering label awarded by the European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE).
This Master's program qualifies you for professional practice in Telecommunications Engineering. The program provides specialized training in disciplines such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, virtual and augmented reality, microelectronics, radio frequency engineering, photonics and quantum, web programming, and network virtualization.
Moreover, the Master's program offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with over 20 companies from various sectors, enabling the integration of telecommunication technologies and systems into new fields of application. This opportunity, known as the "Dual Mention," is a novelty resulting from the approval of RD 822/2021 and is pioneering in Spain. Unlike company internships that only provide financial assistance, this training is carried out jointly between the university and the company under a paid employment contract.
The Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering has been designed taking the Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies and Services Engineering as a reference; therefore, graduates of that degree will have direct access to the master's degree.
Graduates of other degrees in the same field of studies, both from the UPV and from other universities, national or foreign, can also access the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, provided that the degrees of origin comply with the provisions of section 4.2.1. of the Ministerial Order CIN/355/2009.
