The Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering (MUIAGRO) qualifies graduates to become agronomists, while the Master's Degree in Enology (MUENO) is aimed at training professionals in wine production and manufacturing, expert technicians and company managers from the sector and future researchers and specialists in wine technology and innovation. In addition, the master's objective is to train future researchers so that they are able to continue with their doctoral studies.
The curriculum of both degrees has a multidisciplinary academic approach that includes both professional and research aspects. The double degree enables students to acquire the competences of both master's degrees through an integrated academic career. All this in less time and with a lower economic cost than when both master's degrees are obtained individually. In this way, a student of this double degree, instead of taking the 102 MUIAGRO ECTS and the 72 MUENO ECTS, takes a total of 147 ECTS.

2nd year - semester A (48 ECTS): the subjects of module 5 (specialisation) of MUIAGRO will be taken. Students may take the subjects of any of the courses offered in the module, bearing in mind that the subjects taken must belong to the same course. In addition, they will take the following compulsory subjects from MUENO: Enological Microbiology and Biochemistry (34772), Enological Chemistry (34773), Enological Technology and Engineering I (34774) and Enological Technology and Engineering II (34775).
2nd year - semester B (39 ECTS): the compulsory subject of MUENO Sensory Analysis (34776) and two optional subjects of MUENO (9 ECTS) will be taken. In addition, external curricular internships (6 ECTS) will take place in a company, Master's Thesis of MUIAGRO (33381, 12 ECTS) and a Master's Thesis of MUENO (12 ECTS) shall be compulsory.
Graduates in Agricultural and Biological Engineering who want to obtain the necessary competencies to become agricultural engineers and who also want to deepen their knowledge of all those aspects related to the world of wine.
Students must meet the admission criteria for the University Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, since this is a qualifying Master's Degree: The reference degree for access is the Degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering of the UPV. Likewise, graduates in degrees equivalent to the reference degree from any Spanish university will be admitted without complementary training. The rest of the degrees enable access to the master's degree, although it will be necessary to assess each situation individually to determine the necessary complementary training for admission, depending on the academic origin of the student.
