03.

Make your pre-registration

You have achieved the hardest part - congratulations! If you have already chosen the courses you would like to study, it's time to do your pre-registration. Make a note of all the details and.... Go for it!

In other words, how to apply for a place

University graduates who want to start another degree must do the pre-registration like the rest of the applicants on the same dates and conditions.

️No. of places reserved

In the Valencian Community, the number of reserved places is 3%.

How is the process?

Admission will be based on the average mark of your university studies (bachelor's and master's degrees) and degrees from the previous pre-Bologna system.

It is not possible to pre-register as a graduate by providing a university degree, nor a doctoral degree. Applicants who hold more than one university degree must provide the mark of only one degree (the highest).

It is also important to know that you should be aware of the fact that you can only register as a university degree holder if you hold more than one

Furthermore, it is important to know that you can also apply for admission to university by other routes, as long as you meet the requirements: baccalaureate, vocational training.... To do this, all you have to do is fill in the information in the corresponding boxes and provide the supporting documentation.

The system will automatically choose the entry route through which you can obtain a place.

Pre-registration accepted

Have you been admitted to the pre-registration? On this self-enrolment page, you will find the date and time you have to enrol. Remember that enrolment is done online and that it is very important to do it in the assigned timetable, otherwise, it will be understood that you give up your place and this vacancy will be assigned to another student through the waiting lists.

We provide you with more information about the enrolment process and dates in section 5 “Make your enrolment”.

Waiting lists

Waiting lists allow candidates who were not initially admitted to a specific programme (degree, double degree, or PARS) to have an opportunity to take up places that become available at a later date. This may occur if initially admitted candidates decide not to enrol or cancel their enrolment, thus freeing up their places.

What to do if you are on the waiting list?

If you have not been admitted to your desired degree, you will be on the waiting list for that degree, double degree or PARS by default. If you are still interested, it is imperative that you activate yourself on this list between 14 and 17 July (until 23.59 pm).

It is important to note that this action must be done by yourself and that you have the possibility to register in as many lists as you wish. If you do not activate yourself on the waiting list for a grade within this period, you will not participate in the allocation of possible vacancies in the following phases.

How to activate on a waiting list?

You can activate your place on the waiting list directly on the page where you consult the pre-registration results.

Once the results are known, if you have not been admitted to the first degree option you applied for, you will be assigned an order number on the waiting list.

But in order to be called from a waiting list if there are vacancies, you MUST be activated on the waiting list (one for each degree).

In this way, the university will only call candidates who have indicated their interest in taking that particular degree. If you do not activate, you lose your chance of being admitted to that degree. Waiting list calls are managed by each university.

You can activate your place on the waiting list by going to the website of the university to which the degree you want to study and for which you are on the waiting list belongs. If you have applied for degrees from different universities, you must follow the instructions and deadlines of each university to activate your place on the waiting list

To get on the waiting lists for UPV degree courses, all you need to do is enter your ID number (not including the letter) and go to the section entitled “Waiting list information”. There, by clicking on the "Manage waiting list" button, you will see the degrees and double degrees for which you have not been initially admitted and which are pending.

If you decide that you want to opt for any or all of them, simply click on the “+” button next to each course. If you want to unsubscribe from a list, click on the "-" button.

If you are interested in joining a waiting list for another degree at a different university, you should consult the deadlines and procedures on the website of that university.

Deadlines for activation

The deadline for activation on the UPV waiting lists is from the moment the admission results are published until 17 July 2024 at 23:59 hours. At later stages, although you do not need to reactivate at the UPV, you can resign from a waiting list if you are no longer interested in that degree.

04.

Make the registration

You are very close to joining the UPV community. If you have reached this step, your pre-registration has been approved and now it's time to formalise your enrolment, we are looking forward to meeting you!

You will receive an appointment

The registration system for undergraduate, double degree and new PARS students is the same. Admitted students will receive an appointment for self-enrolment in the degree, double degree or PARS where you have been admitted.

Dates: 16 and 17 July 2024.

Complete the enrolment process easily through the self-enrolment platform.

What if I remain on the waiting list?

As we explained in section 3 “Make your pre-registration”, waiting lists are an option for people who did not manage to get into a study programme at first. If someone who was initially accepted decides not to register or cancels their registration, the places left vacant can be taken up by those on these waiting lists.

In addition, UPV places that have become available seats will be offered to people who are on the waiting lists and who have been activated.

On the other hand, if you enrol at the UPV, you will be offered a place on the waiting list.

On the other hand, if you enrol in one degree and you are subsequently admitted to another degree that is of greater interest to you, you can enrol in the latter and cancel the previous enrolment. This procedure is automatic if both degrees are from the UPV (the same automatic enrolment application, when you enrol in the second degree, asks you if you want to cancel your enrolment in the first one). But if the studies are from different universities, you must ask at the centre where you have enrolled first how to request the cancellation.

What to do if you are on the waiting list

If you have not been admitted to the desired degree, you will be on the waiting list for that degree, double degree or PARS by default. If you are interested, it is essential that you activate yourself on this list, but, above all, always remember to have enrolled in a degree.

It is important to note that this action must be done by yourself and that you have the possibility to register in as many lists as you wish. If you do not get on the waiting list for a grade within this period, you will not participate in the allocation of possible vacancies in the following phases.
