The Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering is a degree that enables the profession of Telecommunication Engineer, regulated by law by order CIN 355/2009. The Master's degree trains and allows specialising in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, virtual and augmented reality, microelectronics, radio frequency engineering, photonics and quantum, web programming or network virtualisation.

Among all these disciplines, cybersecurity is the one that has had an increasing relevance in recent times. In response to this growing demand, the UPV launched the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence. Its supply-demand ratio in 2021/2022 was 303%.

The double Master's degree allows for dual degrees with significant savings on credits taken. Out of 174 credits, 60 would be on cybersecurity and cyberintelligence issues; the rest would be 66 credits from the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, plus 30 ECTS and 18 from the corresponding Master's thesis. This means a saving of 36 credits compared to completing the titles separately.
